How to get involved with The L.A. Project

Founder and Former Executive Director of the Los Angeles Center of Photography Julia Dean offers classes through The L.A. Project. All classes are held in DTLA’s Chinatown at a very cool co-working space called Studious.

Along with a one-day Crash Flash class and a six-month Documentary Project class, Julia's thriving street photography program starts with her introductory Street Photography class. The next-stage class is the repeatable Street Critique, with an evolving curriculum as students continue to develop skills. Julia also co-directs the Street L.A. Collective, a group of dedicated, higher level street shooters.
